I give up ownership of The-aikuchi-squad.
This isn't about inactivity or the members.
The reason why I'm giving up this group is because
I'm leaving MT.
I'm not rlly sure about friends. Buddies. Relationships. And such.
Something happened that had me rethinking all these things.
And it's unexpectedly tough on me.
I apologize for giving up. I'm not as strong as people think I am.
A lot of things happened in my life. The posts my little brother made before he passed away. The way he behaved. The things he said to me. They're all still here on this site.
Because of this I clinged to this place so much.
It's awkward how such a small problem could hurt this much that I'd want to leave. But I rlly can't stay.
If I did, telling u guys how to be friends and stuff.. I'd be a hypocrite.
I'll never 4get the fun times we've spent together. I won't 4get the buddies I've made and the people I've met.
I'll still pass by MT, but I can't promise that I'll continuously keep coming back for visits.
Keep moving on. Give it all the best u guys. I'll still be on msn like usual (can't leave that. xD). So.. this is it.

A lot of things happened in this group AND in this site as a whole over the years I've been here. My little brother was here. My little brother made sure to come here and tell everyone that he'll come back some day soon. But he passed away.
Because he was so fond of RFL and the people in this group, he made me cling to this site and to this group in specific.
But I don't feel that I can carry on here any longer.
So this is good bye to RFL. And good bye to MT as a whole.
I might stop by MT to visit but I can't promise that I'll keep coming back.
I will always hold onto the times I spent here. And all the people I've met.

:pacman: I waited a long time to wait for more votes about what to do with T-A-S, but alas, only 4 people voted besides myself. And Esperanza offered a helping hand (thanks x3).
Taking everything into consideration including the fact that there are 2 options in the poll that reached a tie with each other..
I have decided to.... go with.. optionn # *drumroll* 3. And if you don't remember what that is, it's T-A-S' gain of independence for the members.
Now, this will cause changes we'll have to get used to.
I know it;s a lot to read, but this is the way T-A-S will be from now on. Since you'll hardly end up coming to the page
after this unless it's to check for announcements, make a suggestion/complaint, event, or welcome newbies/recruit
buddies / then you won't really have to be reading such incredibly long posts from me. D: Unless I reply in your
guestbook............

1) The group page won't really be much of a hangout anymore and might become desolate or deserted. Expect it to happen. However, that doesn't mean the group is dead.
2) Members are now independent. You can no longer depend on me to bring you guys together. If you do not wish to be active within the guestbook, you must find your own ways of keeping contact with fellow members and.. me if I'm a buddy. xD lol
3) Besides the guestbook which is not really needed anymore except to welcome new members, you can invite and communicate with others through email or instant messenger. MMO's. And even other forum sites. However, since this is Minitokyo, and the UNITY project is about keeping MT alive, it is not suggested that you lead people to other places just so they can talk to you. This could end up separating the person from fellow MT buddies including the site itself. That's why it is best if you have an email/instant messenger available for the person to contact you. Instead of saying "If you want to hang out with me, you need to join *insert site here*, otherwise I won't be able to see you."
!Since you are no longer depending on me and MT for common communication between club members, you will need to find a way to communicate with them yourself. I lifted off a big load by giving the members the option of freelancing instead of having to come to the site and face 1,000,000 notifications in waiting. Even though you're not being watched for posts or even being required to post, doesn't mean I want you to forget about all the buddies you've made.!
4) T-A-S scoreboard "WILL NOT" be taken down. The guestbook posts will still add points but points will not be removed. The value of posts you make will rise. But again, it is not needed. You will not be deducted points for not posting either. Since people aren't really into posting in the guestbook and you are actually being told "don't post in the guestbook unless it's to welcome someone or leave a message for me or something" I highly doubt I'll have much to deal with. If it ends up being a burden later on, then I'll remove post count from being able to gain points.
5) MSN page/AIM page/YAHOO page, etc. I will now create a section that will look sorta like an Affiliates section. To further get the idea across of being able to email and instant message as a form of contact, I will put up a small banner image and link to your MSN, AIM, Yahoo, or Google "Profile" page. The page will say your email I believe. If it doesn't, make sure it does. If you participate in this, make sure you don't add anyone to your contacts until you get a message beforehand that you are going to be added. I don't have ESP, so you will need to find a way to get my attention and send me your AIM, MSN, Yahoo, or Google profile. If you see it's not up on the page or that I haven't let you know "Ok, ima put it on the page" then it means I didn't see it yet.
6) More events. Not having to deal with keeping track of many many posts at a time, and not having to hold your hands and make you guys talk to each other, I can now focus on planning events for the group instead. From progress of past events, I have come up with a few that (I hope) will be successful, but we'll see.

And I know some of you didn't even get the chance to really get used to the group's old method. But I hope the new path T-A-S is following will be just as good if not better than the old one. :\ u guys i gots some sad realistic news.
1st of all, in the past week I got sick twice.
2nd, I'm taking summer classes.
3rd, I have no help in running this group.
There are things that I can do on my own, no prob. But combined all together, they are a lot of things and they take a lot of time. I've been fatigued lately (almost fainted). And it's not good 4 me (obviously) to study and stay up long nights working on class projects and then devote all my free time to working on the group instead of resting and trying to relax like I should. :pacman: I'm not a game character (sadly) and there's no special item that can energize me again.
Basically, in order for this group to keep running, I need "another me". I need someone who could handle things when I'm gone.
I'd like to have one person who can keep the peace. That person will be the pretty face that lures and calms the people. This person must be confident. This person must be kind. This person needs to be able to use they're own judgement and (not go against my decisions) but be able to not be 100% dependant on me either.
This person must be a 2nd leader. Someone who can take charge but not overthrow me or I'll poke them rlly hard.. :pacman: .....
WE NEED...
a campaign of some sort to nominate this.. this... well I wouldn't call it a president. I'd call this person a "mini-boss". Though that's kind of demeaning, the initials are cool: "MB" of T-A-S.
And it will not be up to me only. This will be the 1st contest T-A-S will ever have. You guys have to vote 4 whoever decides to claim that title. If only one person decides to go 4 it, then that person wins by default.
While I'm trying to be fun here, I am very serious in this matter. My life can't handle running this group by myself. D: I know I got myself into this but without someone to help I cannot run this group.
It is possible for the busiest of people to run 10 groups all together if that person had the right help in each group. Should 1 be a handful, it;s because the one responsible is doing all they can to please and satisfy the members along with keeping from dieing all by themselves.
My 2nd Issue of Help will be.. a Secretary..
That's right.. We need someone to keep track of points. That's all u have to do. If u would like to be part of
organizing events and contests then go ahead.
If not, then we'll need a 2nd secretary for that purpose as well.
What else does T-A-S need?
Nothing else.
The-Aikuchi-Squad is a pretty simple group.
All we do is talk and meet each other. Having fun on msn counts.
And the events never requires any real work except for the thought process of the one setting it up.
It's just that being the only one in charge makes u, the members, feel out of place when I'm not here. Let's make a comparison. Before my exams when I could be here pretty often, the members were excited and posts were frequent. But when exam season started and I started appearing less and less, posts in the guestbook got less and less. And the members of the group have grown to care about T-A-S less and less. It;s not a bad thing nor is it a complaint. You';re in a group and u don;t know what to do. D: That;s common. That;s why a group needs a leader in the 1st place.
But I am not a super-powered being. I cannot be here all the time. I can't always count the points up in time. I can't be there with u to run events all the time. But in order for this group to survive I cannot keep ignoring the responsibilities all the time.
So we're at a standstill. You've got 3 choices.
1) The group can die and I try to successfully make a whacky video game group where we make and collect videos of awesome game footage, game-based anime, video game related parodies, mmorpg's, wallpapers related to them, and talk and fangirl/boy over them and our fav characters and consoles -- which I can EASILY find help for since there r people on MT who luv these things with a passion. (thus things would run smoothly)
2) I can get all the help I need and try to get things back in shape.
3) The group decides to remain a group but connect with each other commonly through MSN (since most of us r buddies with
each other on the instant messengers anyway) and leave the actual page for minor posting and event-related activities
and as well (maybe) remove the scoreboard because it's hard to keep up with it on my own. Thus the actual group's
hangout and form of communication will be the instant messenger. You'll have no need to rely on me. And you can refer
back to T-A-S' page only when an event is being organized, ur taking a leave of absence, or boredome.
*In further explanation, it basically means, u dont have to constantly wait on me unless there's an event or contest.
You can be independent and communicate with me and other members through ur own means instead of depending 100% on the
guestbook of the group. It'll be up to u to keep up communication with the rest of us. u do it on ur own time. And
points will no longer be dependant on guestbook posts. There will also be no removal of points til said otherwise.
Events and contests and announcements will be what the page is for. As well as to round up new members and accept
messages u cant send by instant messenger. If we go with this choice, I will be able to keep my focus on events and
contests and members will be fine because they will not need to entirely depend on me.
WHICH DO U GUYS THINK IS BEST? WHICH WOULD U BE COMFORTABLE WITH?
PLEASE DECIDE...

W H A T ' s N E X T?
That depends on the feedback I receive. I'm currently working on something but I want to improve on it so I will need the thoughts and opinions of past events.
It has something to do with the Dress-Up activity.
So I hope 4 the best. xD And for those who haven't gotten the idea yet, I'm specifically targeting new things and things that can help people have fun with others on the net. That's the goal.
Because a lot of MT'ers, no let me rephrase that, a lot of people in general go around the net looking for a "new" means of entertainment. New ways to interact with others and fight off repetitive sequences like posting in a forums that hardly changes at all xD It's like that everywhere, not just on MT. People get bored of the same routine. So I'm just trying to give you guys more options of things to do when spending time with someone else on the net.
This is especially helpful for those in home schooling and people who are just bad at making friends outside of the net (or both in and out of the net) in general.

It's past June 1st so the rules of the point scoreboard are now back to normal.
Please let me know if you are going to be gone for a long time beforehand, please. If something bad happens and you
can't contact me beforehand, just let me know when you get back. xD Sure people will lie, but that's just crazy to lie
for points. Points are there as recognition to know who's been active, who hasn't, etc. You're not going to die if you
lose points for being gone for a crazily long time so please don't lie about it. XD
